1st Annual Summer Happy Hour was Complete Success!

 



More than 100 Sonoma State alumni turned out for the first annual Summer Happy Hour, which was held Thursday, August 20^th at Sens Restaurant in San Francisco’s Embarcadero Center.  Sponsored by the SSU Alumni Association, the event provided a wonderful opportunity for University graduates to reconnect with former classmates and meet fellow alums.  Co-hosts for the event were Nadir Vissanji (BA Business, ‘07); Chris Fadeff (BA Economics, ‘05); John Rauschkolb III (BS, Business Accounting, ’06); Sarah Singer (BA Political Science, ’06); Nader Sherafat (BS Business Accounting, ’05) and Kelly Bass (BA Art History, ’03)  Dr. Michael Visser provided a recap of SBE’s many new programs and stressed the importance for those attending to stay involved with SSU and show support for their alma mater. The Alumni Association is currently planning future mixers for Sonoma County, Washington, D.C. and the South Bay.  Those interested in volunteering as an event host should contact Anne Biasi in the Alumni Relations office.
