SSU Distinguished Alumni Nomination Process
Up to four honorees may be chosen each year to receive the annual Distinguished Alumni Award. The award will be presented to Sonoma State University alumni for their outstanding professional achievements, contributions to society and the University.
Who is Eligible?
All alumni of Sonoma State University are eligible (graduate or non-graduate) to receive the honor of Distinguished Alumna/us.
How do I submit nominations?
The Distinguished Alumni and Achievement Awards Nomination Form (in PDF format) is available online or by contacting the Alumni Association office, 707.664.2426.
Please complete this form, and include any supporting documentation (articles, publicity, resume/CV, letters of recommendation, etc.) and return to:

When is the deadline to submit a nomination?
The Alumni Association encourages Distinguished Alumni nominations year- round. The 2011 nomination deadline is April 24. This year's recipients will be recognized on Distinguished Alumni Day, Thursday, October 7, 2010.
