The Sonoma State Student Alumni Ambassadors are a diverse group of elite student leaders who bridge the gap between the faculty, staff and alumni. It is out goal to reach out to our surrounding community to enhance campus relations and student involvement through programming, assisting with distinguished events and various philanthropic activities. As Student Alumni Ambassadors, we increase awareness of the Sonoma State Alumni Association and encourage graduates to become active participants within the Alumni Association.
Who Are We?
We are the Student Alumni Ambassador of course! We are out and about on campus sponsoring various events, working with clubs, the Alumni Association and the university as a whole. We represent Sonoma State to the outside public, proving our commitment to leadership, professionalism, community service and education. We put on sponsored events such as Midnight Madness, Dinner with Lobo, Wolfpack, Aid the Fight and Senior Send Off just to name a few.
What is our purpose?
As an Ambassador, we shoot for the stars!
-Develop a means of Interaction among students, parents, alumni, faculty and community
-Gain an understanding and appreciation of alumni activities and programs and convey this understanding and appreciation to the rest of the student body
-Serve as official host at university events
-Promote and support Sonoma State Alumni Association
-Represent the current Sonoma State student body to the alumni supporters
-Help foster school spirit pride
-Create lasting friendships and associations
